Engineering

BHEC has a full service engineering staff with over 100 years of combined experience in Electrical and Control Design. With two professionally licensed engineers on staff, we can take care of all of your engineering needs, including One-line diagrams, Coordination Studies, Arch Flash studies, Infra Red Image testing, Specification writing and review, and P&ID loop diagrams. Our engineers are also experienced in new design builds, retrofits, and system analysis. BHEC engineers take a “hands on” approach to their work, and are prepared to meet you on site to take care of any system issues that may arise.

Control Automation

BHEC is a full-service System Integrator. Over the years we have worked with the largest names in automation, such as Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens, GE, Eaton Cutler-Hammer, RAS Bristol Babcock, and many others.

We have developed the right relationships with our vendors to help you design and implement any automation need you may have, from simple relay control to fully redundant PLC systems over multiple sites. Some of the PLC platforms we have experience with are: PLC-5, SLC-500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Momentum, Quantum, Advantys, M340, S7, GE Series 90-30, 3330, 3305, Control Wave Micro, Control Wave, to mention a few.

Instrumentation/Controls - Maintenance & Service

BHEC has an experienced team of field technicians that will be able to service and maintain any equipment that you may have as part of your operation. Some of the instrumentation manufacturers we have experience with include: Rosemount, Fisher Porter, Endress Hauser, Siemens Milltronics, Ashcroft, HACH, GLI, ABB, Krohne, MSA, GE Sensors, Badger, Ametek Drexelbrook, Yokogawa, Flygt, Gems, BW Controls, Raco Autodialers, Mission Autodialers, Dynasonics, Siemens Moore, and many others.

BHEC will calibrate and maintain your systems as required by your designated state or federal agency, using certified and calibrated test equipment. We will customize a service contract to meet your needs. Getting your systems back on-line, while minimizing your down time, is our primary focus.

SCADA & RTU Solutions

BHEC specializes in custom SCADA and PLC systems. We work with a variety of PLCs including Allen-Bradley, RAS Bristol Babcock, Siemens, and Schneider Electric Control Micro Systems to name a few. Our services include design, installation, PLC programming, troubleshooting, HMI screen development, and radio sight surveys.

Some of the PLC programming software packages that we use include ACCOL, Control Wave Designer, RS Logix 500 and 5000, Schneider Electric Concept, GE Prophecy ME, and Unity. Our staff is experienced in programming Genesis, Intellution, RS View, Factory Talk, ISA Graf, Symate, Citect, Wonderware, and other HMI software packages.

We have successfully integrated SCADA systems utilizing various radio systems in the licensed and unlicensed RF bands including: Phoenix Contact, Freewave, GE MDS, Motorola, Cisco, Data Link, Data Radio. Whether it is a small application or an entire plant, we can design a SCADA system to completely operate and monitor your process needs.

Panel Fabrication & Motor Control

BHEC has a UL-508A certified panel shop offering a complete line of custom control panels for our clients. In addition, we provide modification services for Motor Control Centers, VFDs, Soft Starts, and Enclosed Motor Controllers.

Our team will work with you to completely design and fabricate control panels and motor control devices to suit your requirements.
